Instrumental Music
The Kepnock State High School Instrumental Music Program provides students with the opportunity to develop their musical skills, confidence and creativity through participation in a range of ensembles and performance opportunities.
Students can learn and perform on a variety of band and orchestral instruments while working alongside experienced Instrumental Music teachers. Our program caters for both beginner and experienced musicians and includes opportunities to participate in ensembles such as Concert Band and String Ensemble.
Throughout the year, Instrumental Music students perform at school events, ceremonies, concerts, workshops, competitions and community performances, developing teamwork, discipline and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Instrumental Music lessons are delivered in small groups and are scheduled on a rotating timetable to minimise disruption to students' academic programs. Students are also expected to participate in ensemble rehearsals and performances as part of the program.
