What is PBL?

PBL is short for Positive Behaviour for Learning.

PBL is a plan for schools to:

- be a positive place to learn

- teach students how to behave at school

- tell students when they do the right thing

- help students when they make mistakes

- work together with parents.

For more of an understanding of PBL, please watch this video.

Kepnock State High School's School Wide Behaviour Matrix

Kepnock State High School believes that a consistent and proactive approach to understanding behaviour expectations builds positive relationships and encourages students to achieve their personal best in behaviour, wellbeing and learning. The first step in facilitating standards of positive behaviour is communicating those standards to all Kepnock State High School stakeholders.

The behaviour matrix was constructed in consultation with the Kepnock school community and represents our values and reinforces expectations.
