Kepnock Science
With the 1:1 iPad ration here at Kepnock, our junior Science students use "Stile" for their class and homework. Stile is a web-based textbook and replaces the traditional paper-based textbook.

Stile allows student to view video content and answer questions digitally as the lesson progresses. It also enables an absent student to access the content that they missed in order to catch up with their classmates.

Stile is able to assist students with reading and understanding the content and questions with a built in "Read to me" function and the ability to dictate written answers into the iPad allows all students access to the Science curriculum.

Stile allows the class teacher to track student progress "live" during the lesson. This allows the teacher to monitor student progress and ensure all students have had an opportunity to respond to the questions before revealing is discussing answers and moving on.

Stile is just one way Kepnock State High School is integrating digital technologies into the school curriculum.
