Kepnock State High School is committed to ensuring students are well equipped to contribute fully to the information economy. An essential tool for our school in the provision of innovative educational programs that utilisation of intranet, internet and network services. Therefore, access to these technologies is an increasingly essential part of the modern educational program provided in schools.
 
Kepnock State High School provides a variety of ways access to various computer resources, our Local Area Network and wireless network, various ICT devices and the internet. These resources are available to enhance the learning process in a supportive school environment and to achieve quality learning outcomes for our students.
Kepnock State High School offers all students the access to technology for the purpose of learning in class.
 
From 2016 all students will be able to bring their privately owned devices to school and securely connect to our school network. This will give students access to the internet as well as resources and printing. We will continue to run the Take Home Laptop Program for 2016, but this program will cease after next year. For those families which cannot participate in either of the above programs we will continue to provide limited school owned laptop pods and computer labs for use by students.
 
At Kepnock State High School is asking that parents lend their support to the BYOx program as it is a very valuable and innovative program. Strong support from parents is paramount to the program's success.
